Dear Giraffe Families- Check In- September 2016

The school year, here at PCP, has taken off and the children are soaring right in to routines, exploring the classroom, and making friendships. We wanted to take this time to share with you how thankful we are to be your child’s teachers. We feel blessed every day to be a part of your child’s school experience, and your family. One of our favorites parts of the day is being greeted by bright smiles and hugs when the door is opened. The children are so excited and eager to come in to the classroom to find out what the day will bring.

Part of our jobs, as teachers, is to observe the children in our class. During our observations we have noticed what wonderful friends they are to each other. They offer to help one another when a friend is in need. The children enjoy sharing stories of important things happening in their lives during morning circle, while the others sincerely listen and offer encouraging words when felt compelled. We also use that time to thank God for another wonderful day and send prayers to and for what’s meaningful to the class.

We already feel a close connection to each and every child, and are honored to be a part of your child’s educational enrichment. We look forward to watching them grow and mature over the course of the school year. Each child has carved out a special place in our hearts. We look forward to seeing all of you at Back-to-School night on Wednesday, October 5th, and the opportunity to get to know you and your family better.
