Located in the beautiful community of Rancho de Los Peñasquitos in the inland north county community in San Diego. Peñasquitos Christian Preschool is located one mile west of the I-15 Freeway off the Carmel Mountain Road exit on Peñasquitos Drive.

Program and Curriculum

Ratio: Between 1:6 and 1:10

Group Size: 12 to 20

Two fully qualified teachers assigned to every class

Matriculation: Students matriculate to public, private (Poway Unified, San Diego Unified, Independent, Private Christian and Non-Sectarian schools following preschool).

Student Schedule: Students can attend two, three, four or five morning with a combination of two, three or four afternoons depending on age and group program.

Snack:  Fresh fruit or veggies at every snack

Potty Training: SonShine Kids (parent toddler) and Beginners preschoolers who are the youngest class students do not need to be toilet trained. Program goals work on these skills throughout the school year. Explorers and Kinder Readiness students need to be toilet trained to start school.


Chapel: All students receive the Chapel program once per week.

Nature Hut: All students receive have opportunity to explore the outdoor classroom with special Nature Hut teacher.

Afternoon Enrichment Classes: Project Based Classes, available for certain age groups from 11:30-2:30

Specialty Enrichment Classes: Theme based classes, available from 11:30-1:00

Special Days: Our calendar is filled with fun and exciting special days throughout the school year. Wacky Days, Farm Days, Stone Soup Feast, Transportation Derby. These days are by age, program and schedule.


$3088.00, – $10,300 per school year

Families can pay by year (annual) or by month

Tuition is assessed based on student schedule
