It is with great excitement that we announce, in celebration of Peñasquitos Christian Preschool our Annual Benefit. This lovely evening for adults will be on February 11, 2017 at the Carmel Mountain Country Club in Rancho Peñasquitos. 

The theme of this year’s event, dinner and silent/live auction in honor of our children is “Oh! the Places You’ll Go” and we look forward to a memorable evening with our parents, family members, friends, church members and community that continues to support our wonderful school in our 31st year!

In Psalm 119:105 and Ephesians 3:20 we are reminded that his word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our patPCP-ANNUAL-BENEFITh. Because of his great power working in us and through us we are able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or than we can imagine. These are the truths we share with our children each and every day.

Oh! of The Places They’ll Go!”

This event marks the largest preschool parent involvement and community builder in the Peñasquitos Christian Preschool school year and connects our church and preschool community through a lovely celebratory evening. It is our goal to have 100% participation from every family and we need help from all our supporters in the PCP and PLC community. The majority of funds raised for our children will come from our silent and live auctions; therefore, any and all contributions or donations are welcomed, appreciated and encouraged.  There is no gift is too small or too large.

Through the generosity of our supporters and those who attended last year’s events, the funds raised enabled the Preschool to purchase five SMART Boards for our classrooms as well as build a permanent wall between two classrooms. The funds raised at the 2017 Annual Benefit will contribute to additional capital improvements and the purchase of educational materials (furniture and equipment). We look forward to sharing with you as we prepare for the “Oh! The Places You’ll Go how we will be earmarking fundraiser dollars to improve the quality of the children’s program.

To keep our community informed about this exciting evening, we will be sending a regular Annual Benefit E-News Blast. Underwriting opportunities are limited and currently available through a separate Underwriting packet.  Our solicitation packet is currently available for item donations. Sponsorship and Early Bird tickets will be available beginning December 1, 2016

We know our children are not our own, they are a gift and we are entrusted to pour into their lives deep truths that will form their identities and carry them as they go. It is because of the children that we volunteer and work to raise these funds to build a stronger community of togetherness and support. We look forward to what we can accomplish together for the sake of these young lives delegated to our care. Underwriting Opportunities

Dear Preschool Parents, Friends and Community Members,

 

We are excited to announce that preparations are underway for this year’s Annual Fundraiser, “Oh! the Places You’ll Go”.  The Annual Benefit is the major fundraiser for the preschool and 100% of the funds raised are directly invested into the school and its students.  It is the volunteerism and generosity that makes this event a success.

 

The goal for the Annual Benefit is to raise the maximum amount of money for Peñasquitos Christian Preschool while keeping expenses to a minimum.  Underwriting, is one of the important ways funds are raised which allows the Preschool and the Benefit Committee to put on this event.

 

This fall, we are presenting an outline (see below) which provides various underwriting opportunities for families, individuals and businesses. All underwriting contributions are 100% tax deductible.  A receipt which includes the Tax-ID number will be provided once payment is made.

Solicitation Packet 2017

Dear Families, Friends, Merchants & Community Partners,

 

Peñasquitos Christian Preschool is holding two important fundraisers this school year.  Our Annual Benefit on February 11, 2017 at Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club in Rancho Peñasquitos and our annual PLC Open Golf Tournament on May 1, 2017 at Bernardo Heights Country Club.

 

Your generous donations towards these events will bless and enrich the lives of the many children at the Preschool as well as the families in our community.  We are asking for your support in making these events a great success.  Our fundraising sponsorship and solicitation efforts will reach over 2,500 households  and over 10,000 businesses that have supported the preschool community over the past 31 years.

 

Last year’s fundraiser was extraordinarily successful due to the generosity of the merchants, restaurants, families and friends who donated items or services for our live and silent auctions.  As we look to our 2017 fundraising efforts, the Preschool is dependent on strong annual fundraising to continue to assist us in seeking resources for important items that impact our children and community.

 

Future fundraising dollars will contribute to building and capital improvements, equipment, toys, materials, special events and keeping tuition at an affordable level.

 

Included in this packet are the necessary forms for your live and/or silent auction donation. Please fill out the “Live and Silent Auction Catalog Form” for each donated item.  Attach the completed form to the item and send in or drop-off in the Preschool office.  The “Donation Receipt” is for your records.
